The Challenge

What stood in the way.

K&N was managing several connected technology and process constraints that limited operating efficiency. It needed a digital operating environment that could improve e-commerce performance

Legacy digital systems

Existing infrastructure needed modernisation to support growing D2C commerce requirements.

Manual accounts payable

Teams retrieved PDF invoices, searched for purchase orders, reconciled supporting information and keyed details into ERP systems by hand.

Lengthy remittance reconciliation

Payment files from channels including Amazon, AutoZone and Walmart had to be verified against banking and ERP data.

Fragmented integrations

Vendor, banking, logistics and internal systems lacked the connectivity needed for faster workflows.

Our Solution

How we answered it.

We addressed K&N's challenges through complementary modernisation and automation workstreams rather than isolated application fixes. Commerce, partner connectivity and finance operations were treated as one operational transformation, not separate technology problems.

  • ProblemA legacy commerce environment struggled to support growing D2C requirements.
Our answerWe enhanced the Magento D2C platform and its supporting infrastructure.
  • ProblemInvoice matching depended on manual document handling and lookups.
Our answerWe automated document retrieval, data extraction, purchase-order lookup and ERP steps using RPA.
  • ProblemRemittance processing across marketplaces was slow and manual.
Our answerWe connected source-file handling, bank checks, ERP processing and SQL reconciliation into one automated flow.
  • ProblemPartners and systems were disconnected.
Our answerWe strengthened vendor and banking integrations through API improvements.

How It Works

The parts that made the difference.

Magento D2C modernisation

We enhanced the existing Magento-based commerce platform to improve performance and scalability, and strengthened the foundation for ongoing optimisation.

Vendor, banking and logistics integration

Upgraded API integrations exchange information between internal and external systems, connecting banking and vendor data flows that previously relied on manual handoffs.

Invoice processing automation

UiPath workflows collect invoices from email, extract PDF data, look up ERP purchase orders, match invoice details and support ERP entry and invoice memo creation.

Remittance processing automation

An RPA process retrieves remittance files from channels including Amazon, AutoZone and Walmart, verifies them against banking data and ERP records, and processes them through ERP and SQL-connected workflows.

Results

What changed for the client.
