Manual, paper-based work
Patient details were re-entered at every step, which meant slow hand-offs and inconsistent records.
A connected diagnostics network.
A laboratory ecosystem connecting registration, sample collection, payments, reporting and enterprise systems.

What stood in the way.
When a lab runs on paper and disconnected systems, every hand-off becomes a risk to quality, speed and revenue. The root cause is that no single record links clinical, operational and financial events
Patient details were re-entered at every step, which meant slow hand-offs and inconsistent records.
Without barcodes and status scans there was no chain of custody, and identification errors were hard to catch.
Every new test or report layout needed a developer, which slowed down new services.
Self-pay, company-billed, insured and referred patients each carry their own rates, leaving revenue, receivables and commissions unclear when billing sits outside the lab…
How we answered it.
We built NexusPro as a modular Laboratory Information Management System that puts the whole lab on one case record. Registration, samples, results, approval, reports, billing and payments all attach to the same case, with role-based access by organisation, centre and department.
The parts that made the difference.
Reception finds patients by MRN, name, CNIC or phone to avoid duplicates. Rates and discounts apply automatically, followed by labels, a receipt and full or partial payment.
Each sample's barcode ties it to patient, case and test, with status moving from registered to collected, dispatched and received. The lab receives centre samples in bulk.
Technicians see only their departments' work, with templates that carry reference ranges and hotkeys. Bulk status change moves many tests at once, and a worksheet prints the day's bench work.
Pathologists review, add remarks and approve with a digital signature. Only approved results are released, rendered from the test's template with the lab's branding.
What changed for the client.
NexusPro runs in live laboratories, from early-adopter sites to an extended network deployment. Value is measured against a baseline agreed with each lab at onboarding, and feedback from working labs continues to shape the product.
